Am I suitable for Inman Aligners?

Only certified dentists can provide Inman Aligners and here at Windmill Dental Care, Dr Fraser Paulin has achieved this certification. We offer new and existing patients across Motherwell, Lanarkshire and Glasgow a free initial consultation during which we can assess patients suitability for an Inman Aligner Teeth Straightening system. During your Inman Aligner free consultation, we will discuss how soon you should expect to see results and what results might be achievable. The Inman Aligner is not suitable for every case due to the fact that it only straightens the front teeth. Patients who suffer from more severe crowding may need to be referred for more extensive orthodontic treatment, such as conventional or clear braces.

How does it work?

 

The Inman Aligner uses a unique approach to straightening the visible front teeth. A pair of spring-loaded bars exert gentle straightening pressure to the front and back of teeth, effectively squeezing them into a more natural position. Your dentist will take a mould of your teeth so that an aligner can be made to fit you perfectly and you will need to wear the aligner for 12-20 hours per day for up to 18 weeks (average 12 weeks) depending on the desired result and the starting position of your teeth. You will have several check-up visits in this time and your new alignment will need to be supported by a retainer after the treatment has ended.
