Tell us about you dental career?

 

I graduated from Dundee University in 2011 and worked in the Grampian region before moving to Musselburgh.  I worked in Musselburgh gaining a broad knowledge of general dental practice for 9 years before moving to Windmill Dental Care.

Do you focus on any aspects of dentistry?

​

My area of interest in dentistry is Restorative Dentistry and I have completed further training on the latest orthodonitc techniques. My extensive training in Cosmetic Dentistry helps me provide the smile my patients ask for- something which makes me very happy!  I enjoy working with kids and patients who are anxious of dental treatment and find it rewarding to see them complete their treatment.

What do you do away from work?

​

I have travelled extensively to many parts of the world such as Sweden, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, America and Mexico where I have been able do a free fall parachute jump and a bungee jump among a host of other memorable experiences. I enjoy keeping physically fit by participating in a variety of sports and have completed half marathons and a full marathon, however I find the variety of the cross country obstacle courses in Tough Mudders more enjoyable.  Recently most of my free time is taken up with the arrival of my beautiful little girl!
